The Model P-SB7T Spirit Box®, designed by Gary Galka of DAS, is the first production built Spirit Box designed specifically for paranormal enthusiasts. On October 30, 2009, the P-SB7T Spirit Box® made its first appearance on Ghost Adventures’ “LIVE” episode from the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum.
Over the course of a 40-minute part of the show, the P-SB7T Spirit Box® offered “real-time” responses to his inquiries from the moment it was turned on.
Under some conditions, when utilized by a properly trained individual, the P-SB7T Spirit Box® will produce results similar to an EVP recorder, but in real-time. Since then, it has grown in popularity and can be seen on Ghost Adventures on a regular basis, with Zak receiving consistent and meaningful responses to particular queries.
The P-SB7T Spirit Box® employs a millisecond adjustable Forward or Reverse frequency “sweep” technique, as well as a proprietary high-frequency synthetic noise or “white noise” that is spread between frequency steps.
A new AM Signal Boost circuit is included in the latest model! In the AM bandwidth, the user will hear more radio information and it will be sharper.
The P-SB7T Spirit Box® has a six-step adjustable sweep rate that gives users more control over their technique and session conditions. For viewing in the dark, a bright Red (670nm) rear light display with manual ON/OFF choice is excellent. Three “AAA” batteries are used in the P-SB7T Spirit Box®. Professional investigators can use the P-SB7T Spirit Box® to help promote the field of paranormal ITC research.
