This one of a kind semi-articulated spine has been left in the condition in which is was found.
The ribs are attached to the vertebrae by strips of dried skin and dangle freely. There are mummified strips of skin attached to the bones.
Definitely one of a kind.
I believe this is from a very small juvenile whitetail deer.
Approximately 19″ in length.
